An apple a day

Before you peel that low-calorie, high-fibre, healthy apple keep in mind that most of the fibre and the antioxidants are in the peel. Quercetin is the antioxidant responsible for lowering your chances of developing certain cancers and pectin is the type of fibre that helps reduce your cholesterol.

Scrub your apples well before you take a bite of health.
