This book is without a doubt the best book I ever bought. On a trip to Toronto I picked it up and haven’t put it down since. The information is easy to read and the recipes are excellent. Who knew you could make heart healthy treats? Oprah really needs this book to add to her collection.

I couldn't be more excited about this book even if I wrote it myself! It's chockful of the latest nutritional information in a very user-friendly format. It includes menu outlines applying this information and wonderful, easy, delicious recipes. This is a health plan not a diet book and it's absolutely wonderful. I love it!

If I could write a cookbook / lifestyle manual this is what I would want it to be. Very informative bands of information across the bottom of the pages in the front half of the book put all the bits and pieces of info that you have read before all in one place. The menu suggestions are great and all of the recipes work! Even the ones for high fibre muffins and loaves turn out well - the muffins are a good size not the small heavy ones that you sometimes get from "healthy, high fibre" recipes. Information on flax benefits is excellent.

You definitely need this in your library.
